Solo Stove Bonfire
Solo Stove Bonfire ~ Our Mid-Sized Portable Fire Pit
The Solo Stove Bonfire is unlike any other fire pit you’ve ever seen! We have used our same patented technology that has been perfected into a portable fire pit to take along on trips or to enjoy at home.
This fire pit is truly beautiful, yet minimalist in design. And it maximizes fuel combustion and air-flow efficiency.
And the best part? It produces nearly no smoke and there is minimal ash left over! So not only is the Bonfire easy to clean up, but it won’t leave you smelling like a campfire.
The Bonfire is fueled by logs, larger sticks or woody debris, while the air intake holes on the bottom pull air in towards the fuel source. While air is being pulled in, the double-wall construction allows air to be heated up and fed through the top vents, providing an extra boost of pre-heated oxygen. This creates a secondary combustion, producing more heat as well as a beautiful flame that your family and friends will enjoy watching.
The optional stand will allow you to get the most from your Solo Stove Bonfire by being able to use it in more places than ever! With ample airflow, the Bonfire Stand allows you to use your Ranger on more heat sensitive surfaces.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will My Bonfire Be Hot When in Use?
YES! It will be hot! It will be extremely hot! Do not touch any part of the Bonfire Fire Pit when in use. Children should always be under parental supervision when around the Bonfire. Use common sense and treat the Bonfire like any other fire.
How Do I Cook on the Bonfire?
The Bonfire was designed to be used as a backyard fire pit, helping you gather friends and family. Feel free to break out the marshmallows and hot dogs or other fire pit friendly food!
What Types of Wood Do You Recommend Using as Fuel?
Any firewood logs will burn, but for optimum efficiency we recommend dry hardwoods. Hardwoods such as birch, maple, hickory and oak will burn longer than softwoods. Be sure to avoid driftwood as it contains a high concentration of salt that can potentially corrode the fire pit.
How Many Logs Should I Use?
We recommend using 4-6 average size logs. Don't overfill your Bonfire. Once you have a hot bed of embers, you can always throw on more logs. To minimize smoke and optimize your flame, don't fill the wood above the holes at the top of the fire pit.
How Do I Clean and Store My Bonfire?
After your Bonfire is cool, turn it upside down to empty any remaining ashes left in your fire pit. Keep your Bonfire in a cool and dry place when not in use. It’s just that easy!
Where Should I Use the Bonfire?
The Bonfire works great in a backyard or take it with you to your campsite.
Can I Place the Bonfire in an Existing Fire Pit?
Yes, however we recommend 2+ inches of clearance around the unit for proper ventilation.
Does the Bonfire Come with a Cover?
No. Your Bonfire comes with a black, nylon carrying case. The Bonfire Shelter, an all-weather cover, may be purchased separately if you would like to leave your Bonfire outside.
Do I Need to Purchase Any Accessories?
No, your fire pit is ready to use with just wood. However, we do offer several accessories to make your experience even better. See the listing of accessories at the bottom of this page.
What's the Difference Between the Solo Stove Lite, Titan & Campfire vs the Bonfire and Other Fire Pits?
The Solo Stove Lite, Titan and Campfire are more portable backpacking and camping stoves meant for cooking. The Bonfire is our mid-sized backyard fire pit, and was designed to accommodate larger groups who enjoy sitting around a beautiful, smoke free flame.
